EyeLevel BQE is an artist run gallery that is devoted to providing a unique forum for artists and designers living and working in Brooklyn and Queens, with an open invitation for international artists as well.
The 19th century billiards hall turned exhibition space provides a beautiful and unexpected alternative to the traditional commercial venues. Driven by the evolution of art in the outer boroughs, EyeLevel BQE enriches its community by providing individual visuals artists and collectives opportunities to challenge and excite their peers.

History
As a collaboration between Victor Osborne and artist Gabriela Alva, these creative minds worked together in order to develop a hat, The Milliner, aided Gabriela on her piece to be presented as a part of her Bronx’s Artist in the Marketplace installation.
A few months later, Gabriela proposed to Victor a series of collaborations in one of his window displays; The first artist to intervene in this window was Amy Beecher, a year passed by, and Victor found his Orchard Street ideal boutique, leaving Eyelevel Project the opportunity to operate in his once beloved Atelier, it was then when Eyelevel BQE was born.
Six months have quickly gone by, and Eyelevel BQE already has decided to take this season to launch a new project.
Please welcome Eyelevel Focus; a tool that allows our biggest passion; highlighting a strong line of work, focusing on an Artist’s work for a 2 month period, a single artist’s line of work which accompanied by a carefully selected selection of pieces.
